Coach Blake May joined SD Force FC in 2016, and has coached Girls soccer at Poway High School at both the Freshman and JV levels over the course of the past couple of years. Coach Blake was also most recently named the SD Force FC 2023 Coach of the Year for the Olders Girls program. Coach Blake grew up playing for local San Diego clubs, Avengers FC and SD Arsenal FC as well as played High School soccer at Westview and played College soccer at Cal State San Marcos.
Coach Blake aims to inspire his players to improve both on and off the field and teach them skills through playing soccer will help translate into their every day lives. Coach Blake’s favorite soccer team is Manchester United and his favorite player is Marcus Rashford.
