Coach Chris Malham grew up in the San Diego area where he played 10 years for San Diego Soccer Club and 2 years at Albion. In his time at SDSC he captained the clubs first ever team to win US club soccer’s National League & qualify for the National Championships where they finished 3rd in the country. His teams also qualified and competed in FarWest Regionals 2x, Dallas Cup 3x and Gothia Cup in Sweden. Growing up he was recruited for the PDP regional trials & from there was selected for an ODP National team camp. In his junior year playing for Rancho Bernardo High School he received All-CIF honors prior to being recruited to play college soccer at California State University San Marcos where he studied criminal justice. His goal as a coach is to influence his players to learn about life through the game of soccer and to have them become the best possible versions of themselves on and off the field. He is currently in the process of obtaining his ‘D’ license from US soccer.
