I grew up playing in the professional youth academies in London, England, before
playing collegiately at the University of Exeter. I graduated with a Bachelor’s
degree in Sports Science and immediately began my coaching journey in the US,
starting off in New York before settling in northern CA where I’ve coached for the
past 18 years. During this time, I’ve coached players of all ages, from U5s up to
high school seniors. For most of this period, I’ve run a club as the Director of
Coaching, been a Program Director at a large D1 high school leading both the boys
and girls programs for many years, as well as operating my own youth soccer
consultancy business advising clubs on coaching methodology and best practices.
